The Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks topped the visiting Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's league test.
The Sharks now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a test on Friday, March 3. Math & Science College Preparatory will confront a Democrats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA). The Democrats record now stands at 0-1.
The Phoenix (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA). The Toilers enter the test with a 1-0 record.
