The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Bethel Jaguars (Vallejo, CA) and the host Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA), saw Bethel's volleyball squad nip Richmond by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Bethel upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Jaguars host Swett (Crockett, CA) to play the Warriors in a bout on Monday, March 6. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Swett lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Albany (Albany, CA)

The Oilers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Salesian College Preparatory for a Tri-County bout on Friday, March 3. Richmond will play a Pride squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Albany (Albany, CA). The Pride record now stands at 0-4.
