The Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) basketball nipped the host Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE), 45-38 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Patriots (25-1) will now prepare for their test against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 25-0 record. In their last test, Bridgeport got by Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE), 61-57, in a non-league test.

The Swedes now own a 20-5 record.
