Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) and the host Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD), saw Churchill's basketball squad hold off Wootton by a count of 51-45.

With the victory, Churchill upgrades its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 17-6. Parkdale won 68-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Laurel (Laurel, MD)
