Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI), 70-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mattawan upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 16-6. Lakeshore won 48-43 in their recent non-league bout against Portage Central (Portage, MI)
