The New Covenant Gryphons basketball team (Lynchburg, VA), was nudged 37-35 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA)

The Celtics now possess a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Margaret's for a non-league battle on Friday, March 3. Roanoke Catholic will battle a Scotties team coming off a 52-37 non-league win over Richmond Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The Scotties record now stands at 14-9.
