The Newark Valley Cardinals (Newark Valley, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Waverly Wolverines (Waverly, NY), 53-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (21-0) will now prepare for their test against Chenango Forks (Binghamton, NY). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Chenango Forks got by Oxford Academy (Oxford, NY), 64-47, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 13-5 record.
