The Putnam County War Eagles crushed the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
The War Eagles now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to George Walton Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, March 6. Putnam County will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-3 league loss to Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
Next, the Purple Hurricanes face the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) in a bout, on Monday, March 6. Monroe Area will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 7-3 non-league win over George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA).
