California High School Softball - Northgate bounces Pittsburg

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) and the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA), witnessed Northgate's softball squad prevail over Pittsburg by a count of 23-6.

The Broncos now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wood for a non-league match on Saturday, March 4. Northgate will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 27-0 non-league loss to Davis (Davis, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Pittsburg moves to 0-1 on the season. The Pirates host Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 7.
