In Wednesday's league battle, the host Bel Air Highlanders soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Ysleta Indians.
The Highlanders (19-0) will now prepare for their battle against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors come into the 5A Region 1 District 2 battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Parkland nudged Del Valle (El Paso, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Indians (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions come into the 5A Region 1 District 2 battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Horizon was overwhelmed by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 4-2, in a league battle.
