The Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) softball routed the visiting Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 24-14 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks go into the Metro 4A bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Northern Guilford was routed by Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 5-2, in a non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Guilford for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. Trinity will confront a Cowboys squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-0.
