With the win, Corning upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Osceola (Osceola, AR) to battle the Seminoles in a 3A Region 3 test on Monday, March 4. The Seminoles come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Marmaduke falls to 0-1 on the season. The Greyhounds host East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to battle the Warriors in a 2A Region 3 test on Monday, March 4. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-1. East Poinsett County won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
