Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 73-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Eagle River upgrades its record to 5-18 on the season. The Wolves travel to South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to clash with the Wolverines in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Tuesday, March 5. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 9-16. South Anchorage lost 52-36 in their recent league bout against Service (Anchorage, AK)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet bout, on Tuesday, March 5. Chugiak will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 11-13 record after their 74-71 league win over Dimond (Anchorage, AK).
