Lander Valley Tigers (Lander, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lyman Eagles (Lyman, WY), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lander Valley upgrades its record to 8-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pinedale (Pinedale, WY) to play the Wranglers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 2. The Wranglers come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Pinedale lost 62-48 in their recent non-league bout against Lovell (Lovell, WY)
