The Atascadero Greyhounds topped the host Orcutt Academy Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Greyhounds now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Luis Obispo Classical Academy for a non-league test on Friday, March 1. Atascadero will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-2.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Laguna Blanca (Santa Barbara, CA). The Owls go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Laguna Blanca beat Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
