The Frederick Douglass Broncos basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Henry Clay Blue Devils to 50 in the Broncos non-league victory on Friday.
The Broncos now sport a 21-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a non-league contest on Monday, March 4. Frederick Douglass will battle a Generals team coming off a 58-9 non-league win over Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Generals record now stands at 17-12.
The Blue Devils (21-10) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers come into the non-league contest with a 27-6 record. In their last contest, Franklin County prevailed over Madison Southern (Berea, KY), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
