Next, the Mustangs confront the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge, on Tuesday, March 5. Magnolia West will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Cubs enter the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, TX).

The Cougars now have a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Rudder for a 5A Region 3 District 21 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. College Station will confront a Rangers team coming off a 10-0 league loss to A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 0-17.
