In Friday's non-league battle, the host Waccamaw Warriors soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Philip Simmons Iron Horses.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Georgetown (Georgetown, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Georgetown was nudged by Atlantic Collegiate Academy (Conway, SC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Iron Horses (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Charleston Collegiate (John's Island, SC). The Sundevils come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record.
