Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast Phoenix (Hurst, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, March 5. Castleberry will attempt to better on its 21-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 6-0 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).

The Porcupines now have a 2-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Worth for a 4A Region 1 District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Springtown will confront a Bullfrogs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Decatur (Decatur, TX). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 2-14.
