The crowd at Friday's league test between the Marlin Bulldogs (Marlin, TX) and the visiting C.H. Yoe Yoemen (Cameron, TX), saw Marlin's soccer squad get by C.H. Yoe by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to La Vega for a 4A Region 3 District 23 test on Tuesday, March 5. Marlin will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, C.H. Yoe drops to 8-12 on the season. The Yoemen travel to Hearne (Hearne, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 4A Region 3 District 23 test on Monday, March 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-12. Hearne lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Connally (Waco, TX)
