Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders (Pharr, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders confront the Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, March 5. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record.

The Sabercats now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial for a 5A Region 4 District 31 challenge on Monday, March 11.
