The Oxford Academy Patriots softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Portola Bulldogs to 9 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Oxford Academy moves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Magnolia (Anaheim, CA) to play the Sentinels in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 5. The Sentinels come into the game with a record of 0-4. Magnolia lost 13-2 in their recent non-league game against Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast game, on Monday, March 4. Portola will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA).
