North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashe County loses to North Surry

The Ashe County Huskies baseball squad (West Jefferson, NC), was overwhelmed 11-7 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC)

With the triumph, North Surry moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Greyhounds host Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 4. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Alleghany lost 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC)

The Huskies now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Draughn for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 5.
