The Berryhill Chiefs baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Sperry Pirates to 0 in the Chiefs non-league win on Saturday.
The Chiefs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eufaula for a non-league test on Monday, March 3.
With the defeat, Sperry drops to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates host Sequoyah (Claremore, OK) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-0.
