With the triumph, Prestonwood Christian moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Lions travel to John Paul II (Plano, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a TAPPS Division I District 2 contest on Friday, March 7. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 3-6.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carthage for a 4A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, March 4. Kilgore will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to New Diana (Diana, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
