The North Iredell Raiders baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Mount Airy Granite Bears to 0 in the Raiders non-league win on Saturday.

The Raiders now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A test on Tuesday, March 4. North Iredell will play a Warriors team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Mount Airy drops to 0-3 on the year. The Granite bears travel to Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-0. Surry Central won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)
