The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) and the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA), saw Ponchatoula's baseball team gain a win over St. Thomas Aquinas by a tally of 11-4.
The Green Wave (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, John Curtis Christian held off Patterson (Patterson, LA), 15-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Falcons face the Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) in a 2A District 7 battle, on Monday, March 3. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
