West Virginia High School Basketball - Nitro tipped by Fairmont Senior

In Saturday's non-league test, the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) basketball squad got by the host Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), by a score of 45-39.

Next, the Polar Bears clash with the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a Big Ten test, on Tuesday, March 4. Fairmont Senior will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 20-1 record after their 66-38 league win over Lincoln (Shinnston, WV).

The Wildcats (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Generals come into the Cardinal test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Winfield was nipped by Hoover (Clendenin, WV), 58-51, in a league test.
