In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Vestavia Hills Rebels soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Athens Golden Eagles.
The Rebels (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cullman (Cullman, AL). The Bearcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Cullman was edged by Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 4. Athens will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
