Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Warren Bears (Downey, CA) and the visiting Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA), saw Warren's soccer squad hold off Thousand Oaks by a count of 2-1.
The Bears (19-3) will now prepare for their battle against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Mavericks enter the non-league battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, La Costa Canyon San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lancers battle the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Thousand Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 13-7 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA).
