In Saturday's non-league test, the Hebron Hawks (Carrollton, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX), by a count of 5-0.

Next, the Hawks meet the Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 test, on Wednesday, March 5. Hebron will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Cowboys go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Bell (Hurst, TX).

The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals go into the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 6-3 record.
