The Trona Tornadoes softball squad (Trona, CA), was edged 5-4 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA)

With the triumph, Desert Christian improves its record to 1-6 on the year. The Knights host Immanuel Christian (Ridgecrest, CA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 1. The Crusaders enter the contest with a record of 2-0. Immanuel Christian won 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Desert (Edwards AFB, CA)

The Tornadoes now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Lucerne Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 4. Trona will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-5 non-league loss to Mojave (Mojave, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
