The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors edged the visiting Pike Liberal Arts Patriots softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors play the Montgomery Academy Eagles (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 3. Lee-Scott Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL).
The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kinston (Kinston, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Kinston edged Ariton (Ariton, AL), 12-1, in a non-league challenge.
