The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Madison Academy Mustangs (Madison, AL) and the host Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL), observed Madison Academy's softball team get by Skyline by a tally of 8-7.

The Mustangs (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cherokee County (Centre, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Cherokee County tipped Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL), 6-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Skyline will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
