The Natchitoches Central Chiefs overwhelmed the host Many Tigers softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs meet the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Natchitoches Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Evangel Christian Academy was routed by Glenbrook (Minden, LA), 9-3, in a non-league game.
