In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Palm Desert Aztecs softball team scored a nice 18-2 victory over the Palm Springs Indians.

The Aztecs (3-4) will now prepare for their match against La Quinta (La Quinta, CA). The Blackhawks go into the Desert Empire match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, La Quinta was routed by Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 2-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) in a Desert Empire match, on Tuesday, March 4. Palm Springs will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Knights go into the match with a 1-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Patriot (Jurupa Valley, CA).
