New Mexico High School Baseball - Lovington loses to Artesia

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Artesia Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 23-1 victory over the Lovington Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their game against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs go into the 5A Region I District 2 game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, El Dorado ran past Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 4-1, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Piedra Vista was overwhelmed by El Dorado (El Paso, TX), 4-1, in a non-league game.
