The Searcy Lions baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Mayflower Eagles to 3 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Maumelle edged Bauxite (Bauxite, AR), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Des Arc (Des Arc, AR). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
