With the win, Long Beach Poly upgrades its record to 9-5 on the year. The Jackrabbits host Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Gondoliers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 11. The Gondoliers go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Venice won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Westchester (Los Angeles, CA)

The Tarbabes now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodrow Wilson for a Moore bout on Tuesday, March 15. Compton will play a Bruins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 15-2.
