The Jefferson Democrats topped the visiting Manual Arts Toilers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Democrats now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Math & Science College Preparatory for a Exposition test on Tuesday, March 15. Jefferson will confront a Sharks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Larchmont Charter (West Hollywood, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 5-0.

The Toilers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against West Adams (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers enter the Exposition test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, West Adams was knocked off by Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
