North Carolina High School Soccer - Franklin Academy knocks off Voyager

March 10, 2022: Durham, NC 27704

Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Voyager Vikings (Durham, NC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) in a Super Six 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, March 14. Franklin Academy will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC).

The Vikings now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Oxford Prep for a Triangle North 1A challenge on Monday, March 14. Voyager will confront a Griffins team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Griffins record now stands at 0-4.
