The Chelsea Hornets the host Calera Eagles baseball team by a count of 4-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pell City for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 15.
The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Helena (Helena, AL). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Helena tipped Hoover (Hoover, AL), 9-7, in a non-league game.
