The Woodside Wildcats got by the visiting Half Moon Bay Cougars baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Thursday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host American for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 12. Woodside will face a Eagles team coming off a 29-3 non-league win over Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 12. Half Moon Bay will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 6-2 league loss to Aragon (San Mateo, CA).
