The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL) and the visiting Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL), saw Central of Clay County's softball squad nip Sylacauga by a count of 9-4.
The Volunteers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Munford for a non-league match on Saturday, March 19.
With the loss, Sylacauga falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Aggies host Talladega (Talladega, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, March 28. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-0.
