The Ashe County Huskies softball team (West Jefferson, NC), was routed 11-1 in Thursday's non-league test with the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC)

Coming up next, the Blackhawks clash with the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 11. West Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Buckin' Elks come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).

The Huskies (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 3-0 record.
