Alabama High School Softball - Beauregard bounces Pike Road

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL) and the visiting Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), witnessed Beauregard's softball squad prevail over Pike Road by a count of 12-4.

The Hornets now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Dallas County for a non-league match on Friday, March 11. Beauregard will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 27-4 non-league win over Southside (Selma, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Pike Road moves to 6-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to Spain Park (Hoover, AL) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, March 11. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 11-2. Spain Park lost 6-3 in their recent non-league match against Bob Jones (Madison, AL)
