Alabama High School Softball - Clay-Chalkville bounces Pinson Valley

The Clay-Chalkville Cougars the host Pinson Valley Indians softball squad by a count of 8-4 in Thursday's league battle.

The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL). The Blue Devils go into the 6A Area 12 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Mortimer Jordan Helena (Helena, AL), 1-1, in a non-league battle.

The Indians now sport a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gardendale for a 6A Area 12 battle on Monday, March 14. Pinson Valley will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Leeds (Leeds, AL). The Rockets record now stands at 5-8.
