West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Elkmont for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. West Limestone will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Clements (Athens, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, East Limestone falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Lexington (Lexington, AL) to face the Golden Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. The Golden Bears enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
