Haleyville Lions (Haleyville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Muscle Shoals Trojans (Muscle Shoals, AL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. Haleyville will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Muscle Shoals falls to 5-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Florence (Florence, AL) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 15. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 0-8.
