Hilton Head Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels (Ridgeland, SC), 20-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Seahawks now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wade Hampton for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11.
With the loss, Thomas Heyward Academy falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Beaufort (Beaufort, SC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-2.
